The Cat® C13 engine with ACERT® Technology is ideal for a wide range of applications, including vocational trucks, buses, fire trucks, recreational vehicles and heavy-duty line-haul configurations.

The C13 engine is available from 305 hp to 525 hp with a torque range of 1,150 to 1,750 lb./ft. at 2,100 rpm.

The 2007-compliant C13 engine is engineered to offer the same fuel economy as EPA 2004-compliant engines. In addition, laboratory tests and engine disassembly analyses indicate Cat C13 engines are expected to have a life of one million miles with Caterpillar recommended maintenance.

To provide additional value, published industry reports and dealer surveys on preventive maintenance costs show that Cat engines may save you up to 54% over competitive engines during the first half-million miles of operation.
