   Cat® Remanufactured Fuel Injectors

Cat® Reman Injectors are a cost-effective solution for keeping your equipment operating at peak efficiency because they are built to exact standards established by Cat engineers and meet all new part specifications.

Caterpillar Reman injectors go through a complete remanufacturing process. Every core is demagnetized, before the first wash. This allows all small metal pieces and contaminants to be removed. Optical comparators then precisely inspect each nozzle check angle. Advanced manufacturing systems and salvage processes, such as laser metal depositions, are utilized to return nozzle cases to original specifications. Final assembly, including new seals and O-rings, is completed in a positive-air-pressure-controlled room to eliminate any dust or other contaminants.

Performance tests completed after final assembly include valve opening pressure, injection timing and pressure. Likewise, plunger and body, barrel interface, valve poppet/body, and tip guide clearance tests assure proper installation and compatibility with other engine fuel systems. These total remanufacturing processes assure Cat Reman injectors meet same-as-new performance and quality.
