Operation Trucker check was developed by the Oregon State Police and the first event was in Oregon in 1998. Operation Trucker Check II was held in 1999, and in this event both the Oregon State Police and the Washington State Patrol participated. Idaho was invited to participate in Operation Trucker Check III in 2000. This video is an overview of the 48 hour operation including highlights of several arrests and some of the data that was collected.
